MIDTERM EXAM PREPARATION

Your midterm exam, which is scheduled for Tuesday 12.15, will feature 6 parts -- three content sections and three literacy-skill sections. You will need to select 3 parts to complete.

The sections:

1. Hindu and Buddhist beliefs

2. Philosophy, part I: Plato (objects and forms), Aristotle (ethics/virtue), Lao-Tzu (Taoism)

3. Philosophy, part II: Nietzsche, Heidegger, Seneca, Augustine, Spinoza

4. Given a text, determine the central claim and provide an evidence-based justification.

6. Given a text, determine the central claim and provide an evidence-based justification.
