LITERACY EXAM. You have spent this semester reading, annotating, analyzing, thinking about, and using written sources. The Literacy Exam will require you to demonstrate the reading comprehension skills you have been practicing. This will be a text-based multiple-choice exam. The exam readings are provided in the file below. You may print them, annotate them in advance, talk about them with others, and bring any prep work that you complete to help you as you take the exam. [Note: The readings have little or nothing to do with our specific studies this year. They are examples of primary and secondary sources, and you will use the very same historical literacy skills to approach these texts as you have used with the texts of our course.]
